Nice was really lovely. We spent the morning having breakfast by the beach and then went to an English speaking church service (and like our church they hold supper afterwards, but with a typical French twist- wine is served!). We walked throughout Nice and found an amazing bagel shop (bagels are quite hard to find in Australia and when you do they are very pricey) and got a bagel with ...

it was a rather windy evening and there were some incredibly big waves rolling
onto the beach. We just sat there for a bit watching them and talking. I always
think it’s interesting how we can be so easily mesmerized by repetitive

Yummm Then it was back to our room to pack and plan for our journey tomorrow. Tomorrow we are off to Monte Carlo then through to ITALIA!! France, it's been a pleasure ...

... turned off the highway (just as it was about to become the A8 superhighway! We went past the new stadium and went down empty roads on a brand new cycle path. We followed some back roads along the hillside until we popped out by the shore of the Mediterranean! Our first views were pretty awesome, bright blue water, clear blue skies. There is no sand here, just rocks. But people still flock here and the whole beach front ...

... front of two French girls who looked highly annoyed that they had to move their bags for me so I moved to another pair of empty seats after someone got off the train. With only 15 minutes to go, I realise there was a power point right next to me and I quickly plugged in my phone. You've probably heard already what Sverre and I did when we met up in Cannes so I'll be very brief. I think Sverre had though that I'd have an organized schedule of things to do in Cannes but ...
