... a small seaside (by the Mediterranean) town just over the French border in Spain. Again with just an hour in the town I strolled down to the beach through narrow streets of colourful Spanish houses, bought a litre of wine, poured out from a great wooden barrel in a tiny shop, for 1.5 euros (£1 or about $2!) and returned to the station for my train. ... along the sea. The sun is shining and yay there's no wind. We eventually head into Narbonne where we find a bar so I can link up where I'm going to stay tonight. Find a great hotel, very basic and very cheap right in the centre of town, easy walking distance to everything. The lady is lovely and it's clean what more can you want for 35 euro a night. We stroll in through all the Christmas ...
