Up at 6am to ensure we get through the rest of Sardinia and across to Corsica before dark. Once again little wind so we motor on up and cruise through the Maddalena's. Very pretty and lots of large expensive yachts floating around. Making good time we head across the Bonafacia Straights and into port. A very unique harbour and hopefully time to explore tomorrow morning before we head off to Minorca - it's all go here but have to keep moving whilst weather is good for ...

We caught the ferry right on time. Eldon dropped me off at the terminal, and I stayed with the luggage. He returned the car and walked back to the ferry terminal. Everything worked out smoothly.

... wall" to the highest point of the town so that we could look out over the harbour. All of the stairs in Lake Com o were training for this place!! Spectacular views from the top! It was very hot here yesterday - an absolutely glorious day! Picked a little restaurant for lunch, in the high town (fewer steps!). Roger had spied some steps when we were on the boat leading from the cliff top very steeply down the cliff ...

Well today was the end of the Italian part of our trip, and the start of the very small French part. We left Sardinia on a ferry at 3.30 this afternoon. We've done a lot of ferries this trip..Lake Como ( about 4 or 5), mainland Italy to Sardinia, Sardinia to Corsica. Its really second nature to me now driving on and off boats. I don't feel as though I'm sitting on the wrong side of car anymore. I've assimilated. I'm ...
