... home, different from other parts over this side of the world which is usually pebbles. We didn't have bathers with us, although Lee, BJ and I paddled in the Mediterranean. We picked up a couple of postcards to send to the grandkids, so Jeanette and I headed to the post office, 5 mins away. Meanwhile one hour later returned to pick up the boys and the boys had shot through without us. Five counters, only one that sold ...

With us 'missing' for that time the boys were not where we left them, when all else fails go back to start - we got a clap when we turned up to catch shuttle back to boat. Very pretty and lots of large expensive yachts floating around. Making good time we head across the Bonafacia Straights and into port. A very unique harbour and hopefully time to explore tomorrow morning before we head off to Minorca - it's all go here but have to keep moving whilst weather is good for ...

We caught the ferry right on time. Eldon dropped me off at the terminal, and I stayed with the luggage. He returned the car and walked back to the ferry terminal. Everything worked out smoothly.

The ferry left right on time at 10:00. It was only a 50 minute ferry ride to Corsica, and I couldn't believe how sick many people were. It was a pretty rough 50 minutes if I do ...

Driving to the North of Sardinia

A travel blog entry by eldonsteeves on May 23, 2015

We drove through some beautiful country again today driving to the North end of Sardinia. We didn't see the sea very often, but we followed it for almost 2 1/2 hours. We got to our hotel after stopping for lunch goods and checked in at about 1:30.

I was tired of ham so we got pickled sardines and a pickled mixed seafood salad. Both were outstanding. We also got some brie and bread. And of course we had a nice bottle ...
