... when the dog ran down it. I thought he was trying to kill the dog! But no. The dog was very athletic and brought the ball right back. ... to the shore families made sand castles, little kids played tag and the surf schools conducted their land training. Where the sand met the water the boogie boarders staked their claim. The rest of the waves belonged to surfers ready to try their skills. And far offshore the sailboats floated.
