... couple of days ago. Hopefully the nice people from Eurodrive are not reading this and they will appreciate my nice patch up job to take care of a couple of small dents and scratches and a slightly droopy right wing mirror.

This weeks date night on Thursday was less eventful than last week and we only met a few locals and for some reason there are no really funny stories to tell. I don't have the photos but they have been posted on facebook.

... be driving as finding a park was a nightmare. Eventually we found a good restaurant, it was chaos with the Spanish being loud, tables covered in dishes and packed. Eventually we sorted out a table wiped it down with tissues lol and waited in anticipation of some Basque Pintxos (Tapas) that Vincent and Melanie had ordered. We were not disappointed and the plates kept coming, a bottle of cider is a must and to pour from height is imperative!

... week thats ahead of me (tons of class).
On the way back we had a little mishap with the train when it stopped at some random train station and we were forced to get off. I don't know how the train system works so bad here at times, but we were lucky enough to catch another train to Bordeaux soon after and still make it on our next train. At Bordeaux we got macarons (I got pistachio and nutella) and I reminisced about the days I lived there. It was a great weekend.

Biarritz ( worth a google) was once the home of the rich and famous until the aristocracy lost their heads. Typical European beach insofar as deck chair rentals, skimpy bathing suits ( not that I was looking!) and much glamorous lazing in the sun with the heavy scent of coconut oil wafting on the sea breeze ... SPF 30+ must be a dirty word here ... Most of those on the beaches soaking up the clouds were the very pink Brits ...
