La Solana 64-66 Andorra la Vella, Andorra
Today was my last full day in Andorra. There wasn't a huge amount to do. It wasn't snowing, but the wind was so fierce that it seemed like a sand storm made out of snow. I had a great time watching a group of cows grazing in snow up to their stomachs. Other than that I had a walk around town and spent about an hour at a ...

As we praddled along towards Canillo I mused about our heroic bus driver, and what he might be like. I supposed his salsa music puts him in the zone in the same was as listening to “Highway to the Danger Zone” made the guys from Top Gun fly well. Maybe when he got done with his route there were women in bikinis with ...
... What it does mean, we're not quite sure of yet. Still dealing with the shock and going over a few different options. All while kicking myself for not realizing this sooner. Only one thing is for certain - I'm not going to let this spoil our trip, and we're going to have to get cycling! (o.k., two things).
... to the dog and told her to ‘drop it!’ When she did, the chicken ran away! Thankfully she didn’t seem to do any major damage, but you can’t have a chicken dog on a farm where there’s chickens.
‘Hay’ Day
The summer has been so dry here that grass is not growing enough to feed the cows, so their diet has to be supplemented with hay. Also, since they keep their animals over the winter, hay is ...
... on toast it resembled scrambled eggs in both texture and taste. Won’t become my favourite dish, but it was interesting to try out. I can certainly appreciate the effort to use every part of an animal in respect for it giving it’s life, but I did feel a little like Hannibal Lectre. There’s just something in knowing you’re eating brain that doesn’t appeal over all the other organs on an animal.
Boussenac, Midi-Pyrénées, France 2totango... s ski resorts and as a summer mountain getaway for Europeans. Taking a minibus from Toulouse to Andorra, I literally had to go through rain, hail, and a snowstorm to get there! Arriving at Pas de la Casa, it was 0 degrees and snowing hard. Thirty minutes later we made it to Andorra la Vella, the capital city, where I would stay at ...
Andorra la Vella, Andorra trent... quite tipsy! Well that was about all there was to see in Andorra so we headed on the drive back to Barcelona. Note They speak Cataluna in Barcelona which makes it special compared to the rest of Spain. Andorra is also influenced by the culture and language of its adjacent neighbour. I got back and packed...I think I saw a lot of Barcelona, and I definitely walked ...
Andorra la Vella, Andorra tresgate... last two weeks in Andorra without me. She and Slovakian Martina bought me cologne as a going-away gift. Klara had her medium-length hair tied out from the sides of her head like the wrapping on a small candy. She kept cutely yelling, "Ciao!" and running back to hug me. Her little head a big smile. "Ciao!" She'd hug me good-bye, get to the door, turn around, and yell "Ciao!" and hug me again. "Ciao!" One last hug. "Ciao!" One time more. "Ciao!" I'm gonna miss her. And - oh ...
