Went to our last game today, Honduras vs Switzerland (0-3). Huge last night celebrating in Manaus. Kane and Luis flight was at 5.45am, so they just went straight to the airport without sleeping. Said it was the worst flight/travel day they've had haha. Our flight at 3:30 was hard enough to get on to so I'm not sure how the others got on their flight at 5:45. ...

We left for our Amazon adventures the next morning, and returned the following afternoon. We sat out in ...

... beer pong against the aussies in the hostel. The next day was painful due to the result and a mega hangover. Manaus is definitely as hot as predicted with it regularly reaching 35C or higher with lots of humidity on top. It’s also mozzie heaven and despite using 50%25 DEET Zoe is lucky to have any blood left and has 40 bites. I even got hit with plenty despite being covered up. The mozzies ...

... cut you even though you've been waiting patiently and were actually smart enough to arrive early?" drill with a thousand other disgruntled people (who, to their credit, were actually fairly kind and polite about it). Luckily, the flight attendant yells, "Manaus! Última chamada!" And I just scream like a two year old being denied ice cream with Santa, "MANAUS!!!" And she lets me go with her.

So I get to fly. :-).
