    This morning berthed at the side of the Rhine close to Cologne Cathedral. Had a look round it and then just wandered about the streets. Off to lunch now. While we are at lunch the boat is having to move to the other bank of the river. From there we are getting a city tour. Not much view through our porthole at our morning berth. Lol. Went on the city tour. Quite interesting. Didn't bother with more sightseeing ...

    Our day began with a delicious breakfast in an adorable dining room in the castle. Gwynn took many shots. We then headed out to visit the small town of Hamelin which is where the story of the pied piper originated. The town was beset by rats and the piper was able to lure the rats away with his music.     ... Kodas getting a new tattoo on Friday (and I may get one after Berlin), and I bought alcohol for the first time (along with water and chocolate)! Turns out I'm right and I liked Smirnoff.     ... hung out for a bit and then went for a walk through Bochum
    to get...eventually...food. we went to the shops to get
    ingredients and I was determined to pay the €5 that it all
