    ... We stopped off at the ranger centre before heading out to Vicki and Jim's favourite spot, Birch Bay, for a wiener roast lunch. Not many people around at this time of year but it was easy to see why this National Park is so popular with the locals during the summer season. Plenty of camper (caravan) spots, camping (tent) spots, glamping sites, cabins and a few resorts as well.

    ... of silos. It was a pretty prairie and then rolling hills to Brandon. We suddenly noticed a windshield crack (you are supposed to get cracked windshields in Alaska not here). It was flat, flat, flat - all wheat. We finally got to Regina after another 500 mile day.     ... Lincoln, all former presidents of the United States. There faces are to remember them and for what they did for the country. There was a nice exhibition hall to check out underneath the viewing area which also had a small theatre that plays a short film every 15 minutes.
