    ... along. The weather was magic and 21 degrees. Kickoff was at 2.00 but we had to join the locals and enjoy the band and a beer outside the ground before the game. Green everywhere. Inside the stadium it was also green everywhere with lots of bands, flag bearers, fireworks, cheerleader displays - all the razzamatazz. In spite of not really knowing the game, the spectacle was enjoyable and exciting, the hot dogs were good, the beer was cold and all was well ...

    We were up early and super excited to get our final day finished!! Sarah started at 6am like she had done for the past few weeks. Last night Sarah decided to bake lemon citrus slice and snow balls so she could share them with the Timmies team. I dropped her off and started work at 6.30am. Meridian were really good with giving over time hours which was a huge help, as my scheduled start time wasn't until 7.30am. All the extra time sure helped with giving us extra money. My ...

    ... just carry-ons! A sympathetic soul behind the desk hears us and goes to bat for us to the "boss-lady", who calls the plane and holds it for us. There is extra process at the gates in Amsterdam - extra questions, validating of passports, going through security again ... but they let us through and we make our flight, and with better seats to boot!!! Super happy about that.
