Time moves on - but slowly.

Today marks a milestone for our river cruise. We have FINALLY got below
200 days until we leave. 199 to be exact. Considering we booked when
there was over 400 days to go it is getting closer.

We are
considering clothing, buying some including new walking shoes and even
exchanging some $$ for Euro a bit at a time so it isn't quite so much
all at once.

We've had our last major hikes with our packs over the weekend. My pack is weighing in around 15 pounds. It is the right size for carry on. We are excited with a little nervousness. We fly from Regina-Toronto-Munich-Madrid.

Woke up to a beautiful day so naturally we wanted to go play outside. It was close to minus 30 or more, but beautiful blue skies. We made snow angles and played around in the snow, trying to follow the tracks of a Jack Rabbit. We boiled the kettle and tried the vaporizing water trick when you throw boiling water into the air and it turns to steam, which was fun!!
