I got up at 3:30 am to catch my 5:30 am flight. My gal pals were headed off to vacation for a week with Annie Guest at her place in Arizona & web had the chance to wish each other safe travels as we headed off to our destinations. I met up with Barb, Mike, His sister Janet & her husband Bill in Calgary. We all traveled down to Mazatlan together on the same West Jet flight. ... in a bar with beer and likeminded people. Beer, wings and a pickled egg did not help as the Roughriders were soundly beaten by Montreal. Never mind.


We had made contact with Jim and Vicki from Saskatoon, who were on our Russian Cruise last year. Jim insisted we stay with them for the night so he and Vicki could show us around. Wow. What a fantastic 2 days we had with them.

Saskatoon is about 280kms north of Regina. ...

... Dakota, and Montana to get to here. I would like to have taken more pictures because the differences were noticeable and from 20-30 miles apart, the world changes. Some were flat, some had unique rock formations, wind and water cut interesting perspectives. Now that I've seen a half dozen buttes, I can tell the difference between one and a mesa.
