Great location, best value for money and welcome cocktails:) no breakfast, but Starbucks in the next building, and it's Madrid - no way to stay hungry in that city!

Hi everyone, After a long 12 our flight plus 5 hours lay over at JFK, I finally arrived in Madrid. Since I stayed overnight in LAX to catch the early flight, and the second overnight flight from NYC to Madrid, I arrive a bit exhausted, like been working 2 nights in the row. When I arrived around 4 at Sezar’s, he showed up a few moments after me and led me up the four flights of stairs. He was really nice and immediately made me some food without me asking: gazpacho, a little ham and cheese, and some juice. Sezar was tired from work so he took a siesta so I took that opportunity to also nap. He’d invited me to ...

... off season and 40,000 in July, August, and Septmber. For me it is perfect now, warm, not hot, sunny, and very quiet, only six people on the beach! When we were in Gibraltar Paul wanted to know why we weren't staying there another night. Today he wanted to know why we aren't staying in ZAHARA for a week, yet he keeps asking about the Roman ruins near Seville. I posted a few photos of our journey so far on ...
