In the seven years since we arrived here in Austria we have not had a summer holiday. Running a busy biker hotel leaves little time for anything else. Not that we are complaining, It's been a lot of fun in itself. We have had holidays of course but only in our off season. 2015 is a year of big changes for us, with this being our last season here. ... also adds to the cool and refreshing feeling. I've found it really relaxing to rest here for a couple days and take in the scenery and feel of this country. We will be heading to Italy tomorrow, starting with Venice, which I absolutely cannot wait for!
A few things that I have noticed are different about Europe and have been quite consistent across the different countries we've been to so far-

Well the hot weather seems to behind us and we walked in light rain yesterday and today , Not cold but not pleasant once gear gets wet. Up early today for a an Amazing drive up into the Austrian alps. We all got pretty excited as we started to spy snow topped mountains and alpine ski resorts etc. We found our hotel - really cute and headed straight out for a drive in the mountains.
