To set the scene, we have included a few photos from last year's trip.
... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also. Every morning when I wake up, I can see Mount Goldeck from my bedroom window, the peak of the Gailtal Alps. Yesterday, September 8 was surprisingly a partly sunny day and I decided to use the cable car up to the summit.

My last day in Seeboden, Carinthia.
Tomorrow, I will drive back to Iffezheim
Monday 01 SeptemberDecided against heading south, over the Brenner Pass and
out of Austria, to Italy. Suggested that we head towards Corinthia, via
Kitzbuhel, and also look at the Dolomites. If the rain continues ad nauseam, we
will however head towards warmer climes. So we basically headed west from Hall via Worgl and on to
Kitzbuhel for lunch, and then south through Mittersill and on the Lienz. It
