      ... we went for a walk to the gondola which is near our apartment. It took us to the top of the mountain and we had a little hike across the slopes to have a look around. It is a ski resort at the moment but we just walked around and had a look, turns out the slopes are mostly advanced there.

      ... and laughter ( and occasionally tears). Their was also plenty of tobogganing around the village and our apartments. The village being located in a valley, and with the alps as a backdrop provided scenery and an environment that is a truly picturesue.       ... learnt to make pizza shapes (snow plow) but it was all in German. Alex loved it but Samantha was a little hesitant. We then ventured over to Alpendorf to ski as there was not enough snow at Werfenweg. We had a couple of small runs and Alex demonstrated that he had little control.
