... the challenges of the local 'mini golf' courses. They are mini-golf courses like nothing we've ever seen before. One even has a volcano (about 25 feet high) that spews out pink water (simulated lava)!
Oh and I also spotted an alligator in the golf course lake just outside our condo this morning …

... was eager to get to the ocean. We walked to the closest beach access point and along the trail to the ocean. When we saw the water we ran as fast as we could across the sand to reach it! So, my brother in law, Craig Flanders, owns a small tiki hut style bar right on Myrtle Beach and invited us to come down and celebrate the 4th of July with him and his fiancÚ, Ashleigh. This worked out great for us as we arrived on July 2nd to discover a hurricane warning in effect for South Carolina for the 3rd of July! Really? Only 4 days into our adventure and Mother Nature throws us a hurricane? Come on!
... the sunshine so many wearing their red white and blue bathing suites :-). Bryan watched the tennis then joined me at the pool, too bad we didn't win.
We we decided to go back to Ruth's Chris again tonight it's so close and handy we can walk from the boat.
