      Party Time Management

A travel blog entry by mwall60 on Feb 02, 2015

      ... have a party, or
just have some friends or family over for a bite to eat and some
conversation and as the night goes by you start to get fidgety. It
has been well over 2 hours since sitting down to eat and everyone but
1 or 2 guests are running out of things to say. Total visit time has
now entered into the 4 plus hour range and most guests have left
except for the 1 or 2 who have not grasped the subtle hints you have
been laying out for the last 30 ...

... travels in November this was present fairly often in the islands we visited; get your Curacao liqueur memento after the tour and tasting (delicious, thank you!) but the best was in Jamaica. I was prepared to patiently circle while we waited for nearly an hour for the next opening. Boaters who know this bridge will be amazed at what happened ...

Our start this rnorning found us aground in the mouth of Jeremy Creek after leaving Leland Oil dock in McClellansville, SC. While this wasn't on our plan it did provide the opportunity to eat a nice breakfast, coming unstuck from the oatmeal-like bottom just as we finished the last of our coffee. From then on the day unfolded as planned, catching the tides just right and hitting all waypoints on schedule. The incoming tide carried us up Winyah Bay and we actually sailed ...

It was 23degrees Celsius and we didn't know what to do with ourselves. We spent the morning sitting in our beach chairs in our jeans enjoying the sound of the waves and reading our books. It was nice to finally be in warm weather but we knew it wasn’t going to last. They were called for a low of 2degrees that evening and we were not looking forward to it. I have never been to Myrtle Beach before but Chris has been a few times. It’s strange being here right at this time of ...
