It is one of the finest pieces of Victorian architecture in Tennessee and was abuzz with activity until the late 20th century when the United States government decided it didn't want the building anymore. Fortunately, the Nashville Metropolitan Government did, and took possession of the building for redevelopment.
... the few blocks to Southern Steak and Oyster in the Pinnacle building. We were a little early because the event didn't begin until 3pm..so we stopped into Past Perfect.
... had some energy, so I walked down a street and found one of the many street cafes only a couple of blocks from my hotel. I drank a very large beer and had a piece of cheesecake for only about $15 US - as I had to give them US and I got change in pesos. Then back to the hotel for a night of sleep.
