We figured being in Missouri we needed to stop by Kansas City for some amazing BBQ since the city is known for it!! We stopped at.... We ordered 4 huge meals and shared between the four of us!! One interactive room relived key Truman decisions and asked the audience which influenced Truman the most in making that decision: interest groups and public opinion, personal values, political advisors or the long term interest of the country. Personal values was favoured by respondents. I wonder how most would rate these influences on decisions our politicians have recently been making??
... Frontier Trails Museum which includes entries from the diaries of people who endured the ************ the Oregon or California Trails. The Santa Fe trail was mainly a trade route between Mexico and the US. Since we feel we are on a covered wagon journey, these signs seemed appropriate to share!
