    ... checked the menu and they had Deviled Eggs - Or is that Stuffed Eggs???? Take your pick.     ... ever been truly broke. Similarly, if you have ever suffered through a period of extreme hardship of any kind, you are more able to enjoy and appreciate life post hardship. In my experience in schools, parents worked overtime to shelter their kids from hardships of any kind, up to and including failing a test. I don't think they did their kids any favours by not letting them fail or suffer a bit.
