... for what felt like an eternity but was probably much shorter, our wonderful beach neighbors helped him back.

After the beach we took a scenic drive through the Gulf Shores National Seashore while the kids sacked out in the car. Then dinner and a great fireworks show on the bay! Great day in Florida and we're excited to get to Nora Carolina to see the Murphys tomorrow!

... was a very nice fireworks show after the game, so that made up for some of the boredom of the relief pitchers too scared to throw the ball!

Tomorrow, we'll go back down to "the beach," as the locals call it. This is Pensacola Beach, a town on the outer-bank island of Santa Rosa. The western end of the island is part of the National Seashore: the Fort Pickens unit is there.

... tasted great! Corned beef on a leftover biscuit was the fare.


We then headed for Milton, FL and toward the camp. We stopped at Publix Market for inner fuel and then found a spot for gas nearby. Cost here is $3.45/gallon. A large drop from what we paid in Florida. Smells the same too.
