... we head for Civitavecchia to board cruise ship. We will probably take an open air bus to get a flavor of the city tomorrow and plan our excursions from there based off what we see. Friday AM we have a private tour in the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica, et al. Should be fun!

... 8 different countries in 17 days and feel as though they have a good foundation of what that country is like?? May "boxes" got checked on this trip. And now with our "adventure" fever quenched, we are ready to tackle the next few months of our busy business schedule.

... had worked on the campus), and we found that he knew the Cranes (my little sister's in-laws) very well. It is a small world, indeed.

We had to get an early start the next morning, we had a very long drive to East Texas, but Travis wanted to make sure we tried some delicious sticky buns before we left. They were, in fact, very delicious, and we got to see Navarre beach, also not dog friendly. The beach towns have not been good to Lola on this trip so far.

... we made it through! We made the most amazing memories during the last week. As much as I love vacations, I also love getting home, sitting on my own couch and sleeping in my own bed!

... was over we went looking for another one of the restaurants we had bought a gift card for, and come to find out it had closed (2 out of the 6 we bought we weren't able to use, thankfully they were super affordable and can be exchanged for different restaurants) so we decided to try the place that had a big sign saying that kids could eat for $2.89, cant beat that right?
