... taught cursive writing. How would they be able to sign legal docs she wondered. I said all American kids I've ever enrolled had beautiful cursive. Not any more she insisted. I don't think we're making much of a 'hand' of it here either. (Ha ha). Wendy keeps getting compliments about her hair out of the blue. That's my IO Girl! ... park and beaches. So it wasn't all bad! Unfortunately the aquarium and boat cruise to Alcatraz were well out of our budget but the golden gate bridge was free and so were the sea lions piled up on pier 39. ... we had decided to not walk around too much because of all the crazy homeless people trying to talk to us and do weird insane things. Little did I know at that point that this was where I would spend my next night couch surfing; mistake number two.
