On the agenda yesterday was a tour of Alcatraz and a visit to the Golden Gate Bridge. I think we both found 'The Rock' really interesting, but there were so many people it made it difficult to get a good look at everything in the time we had there. After spending some time resting our tired feet, Scott and I walked up Bush Street to Uncle Vito's. The place was packed. We ordered salads and pizza to go and went back to the rooftop garden at the hotel for a late supper. The views of the city from the rooftop were amazing and the company was even better as the Ellefson's joined us for a beer.
... Flatlanders} . Being totally worn out we walked back to the Ferry Terminal and had Tea and shared a baguette while we waited for our return trip. Another day, we visited our friend Suzy's sister, Marilyn and her partner, Michael in Napa. They took us to a delightful outdoor Mexican restaurant and shared the city of Napa with us. Thank you Marilyn and Michael for a wonderful afternoon. San Francisco was an exciting and fun stop on our trip.

Chez Parnisse is rather famous. It’s situated in Berkeley, and is an institution. They offer a set menu that changes every night. The food was wonderful. And even more exceptional, the portion sizes were just right.
