... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.
We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!
... Tuesday had turned into Wednesday. We were exhausted but you need to keep going the first day to get used to the time change. Germany is 6 hours ahead of US EST. Our hostess, Yvonne met us at the airport and took us to her home. It is a former villa and she lives on one floor of it. Very unique! We ended up stopping for the night at
Glasgow Walmart which is only half an hour to the Cave we want to
tour tomorrow. Not the best nights sleep, a 30 year old man was using
the nearly empty Walmart carpark as his personal race track. He had a
large radio controlled jeep that he was driving at like 70kms and it
made a charming roar as it raced around. Headed to sleep once that
stopped around 11pm. Ah, the joys of camping at Walmart!
