... it into my car. I high-tail it back down the road, passing the stream that had caused me such a headache the night before, now being innocently played in by a couple kids, almost to mock me. Needless to say I enjoyed the descent down the mountain a lot more without the fear of uncertainty and of my safety. I have learned the valuable lesson of doing at least some research to where I'm traveling and the limits of my four-wheeled compadre.

... in the afternoon, the sun was streaming in through the door and the breezes were flowing. I got a little sad to see my last afternoon here. We bottled 116 bottles today. They make extra virgin, cold press oils that sell for $40. And we WWOOFers cook with the stuff every night! After the lemon olive oil we bottled some regular.
