We went into Animal Kingdom after Holly and Jym checked out of the resort. It was a beautiful sunny day. We got to see Devine - the woman dressed as a huge vine that walks around the park, right in the oasis area when we entered. We also saw the Babirusa (like a big pig) there. Christmas Vacation 2014 Day 1 Well we did it! Some might call us crazy (Helen and Joanne) but we decided to leave Michigan at 1:15 am today. I met up with the ladies at Narcoossee's, a restaurant located all the way at the rear of the Grand Floridian hotel. It's easily a 10-15 minute walk ...

... show basically performing the Finding Nemo story with actors/singers playing the character parts holding large animal puppets. Overall quite well done and the kids enjoyed it.

Day one Disney down and we were pretty tired. There is a lot of walking involved in Disney parks, making me feel not so guilty about the lack of exercise I have done on this trip! We had dinner in the apartment and an early night, anticipating a long day tomorrow at Epcot.
