... protestors on a street corner. None of the river ferries were in operation on that day but we walked over the bridge to South Bank and had a wander through the parks and past the lagoons. We stopped at Picnic Park for a few relaxing hours while the kids played on the equipment and we kicked back on the lawn and in the deck chairs. If it wasn’t for all the air traffic it would have easy to forget we were in a ...

Finally arrived home Sunday arvo after our 8 week adventure. Lovely hot Qld weather. Reality really hit home when we saw our green pool and a tripped circuit breaker that feeds our meat freezer. Anyone for some discount meat?
It's been a top holiday and I would recommend it to anyone. 6500 odd K's, 1300Litres of fuel & a couple of grand accommodation. ...

... s another story. All I'm saying is we are lucky to be leaving at all after that little mishap! Yes, I do know where the switch is to turn the microwave off now - thanks caravan shop guy!

Tomorrow the first leg of our long journey - just a short trip up the road, but somewhere really beautiful and well worth a stop. Rainbow Beach - for two days of coloured sands, surf, dolphins and Fraser Island.
