I bought avocados for guacamole and
capsicum and tomatoes for a Mexican quinoa and bean stuffed capsicum
dish. I was cooking tonight and was anxious to do it well, but
excited to take over the kitchen. The van Hests have a great set-up!

Miss Horton that I found on the side of the road, relaxed a bit at
home, then cooked ...
... his "fine" body - on reaching the side of the pool we all,without any prompting, shouted out "Hold on", "Hold on", "Hold on" - sure why not that's what Connor learns in his baby swimming lessons :)) It is hard to believe we have reached the end of our first 3 weeks in Bris. It has been awesome staying with Kat,Trent and Connor and it was tough saying goodbye this morning - We had a tear or two in our eyes but we will see them again in about 3 weeks time.
There were two new Aussie girls (I think, I only
heard one talk), but they kept to themselves the whole time. Mai told
Daniel and myself to go down to the Barn, which was where Daniel
hoped to be. We high-fived on the walk down. I could get my domestic
animal on today!
Throughout the day, I still saw many
keepers and even Karen Nilssen the head of Lone Pine and vollie
coordinator out looking up. No sighting of Sumo, which is mildly
... cupboards. Brad came and took the garden rubbish away. Beau and Nados dropped in, after sleeping in their car near Mt Warning the night before, they both looked tired. Had a few words with mum. Home to Toogoom for a few days...nice to be home. Drove on the new Toogoom and, finally finished!! Saw Don and Helen and Di came for a cuppa. Nice to have Scott around as well. Back to Brisbane on Saturday ...
... be slowed a little. All worked out and we enjoyed the mountain and the views from the top. We made it back to see the kids stretching - which is a funny site. The kids are so flexible too. I went for a walk down the street tonight - holy cow the houses are incredible around here. Huge properties with some having their own marinas. Can't wait to see them during the day. I suppose this may be the reason there is only one hotel in the Cleveland ...
