I had some technical difficulty with the blog on my iPad and much of what I wrote early in week 2 disappeared. Operator error? Having decided to go canal barging in Holland there was never any question about the type of vessel we would hire - it would be a traditionally styled barge, long in front and sticking up a bit at the back and with all the comforts of home.
