Today started out in Yellowstone and ended up in Billings. Our day was super filled. Here is everything that we did.

Paint Pots - We stopped at the section of Yellowstone that had boiling mud and other sulfur-smelling phenomenon. It was so weird to see the mud bubbling. It looked exactly like paint if you would boil it. Check out the video of this. There was also this really loud hole in the ground that had steam streaming out of it. ...

... to hail. Hard. And it hurt like hell. There is nothing you can do but be stranded or continue on. And we are not the type to crawl up and hide. Then it started to snow. 11,000' up and there are snowbanks in the ditches that do not disappear during the summer. They have snowplows up at the pull offs to clear the road of snow in all seasons. We have come to the head-home part of our journey. Today was mostly a travel day. Fortunately I have a friend and colleague who lives in Billings, MT who graciously agreed to let us stay with her. We got there about 430, ran some errands, and then went to Camille's house.
