... clever.
If anyone knows of this disease, please can you let me know the cure. But please, please bear in mind that i think we are talking hours rather than days. As I write this, I grow weak. I'm not long for this world.
Thought of the Day
I must go in, the fog is rising.
For reference
I still have so much to give.
I hope men will say of me that I did duty by my country.
The Hampton was nice, new and comfortable. We woke this morning, enjoyed the hotel breakfast. We organized our bags and cleaned out the car; tossed out our cooler, food, drinks and utensils then headed for the airport. Billings is another extremely small airport. It was easy to park the rental car and walk to the gate.
Let the all day journey home begin....
We're delayed to Denver, 20 minutes.
The last flight to Billings was almost
empty so we all took the opportunity to spread out. I love night
flying, watching the stars out the window. I hoped to see the moon
too, but was soon asleep, cocooned in the gently buzzing, dark plane.
The flight only took an hour so I was
soon awake grabbing my bags and making sure I said goodbye to my seat
to make sure that I hadn't left anything ...
... cheapest around .Brent also had his eyes tested and new glasses ordered.By mid afternoon we were back on the road heading for Bozeman and another costco, where they checked the wheel nuts and made sure we were good to go. Great service.we arrived at a little town called Ennis around 7 pm, a long day for us.
... half way down the bus and completly oblivious to this commotion . Next thing you know he gets taken off the bus too and thrown to the floor and cuffed.. I tell ya, who needs soap operas man, this is REAL LIFE! I mean, how gutted would you be. You think you got away with the dogs and the searching and all cos of the bad luck of some other person, You get taken out...
After all the excitement , the bus was now allowing all the new passengers from that area on ...
... which is the first KOA and probably one of the best. It sits among towering pine trees along the Yellowstone River. The lawns are lush and flowers are present on most sites. We're here for only one night because Danny has found a way for us to go to Yellowstone National Park that won't be too far out of our way from our original destination of Banff. Helen has never been to Yellowstone but has always wanted to see it so tomorrow we head further west.
Billings, Montana, United States danandkat... since we left home on Thursday, and headed over to the campground’s outdoor BBQ, “Pistol Pete’s.” We both had a filling meal of rib steak, baked beans, potato salad, corn on the cob, and Texas toast.
When we returned to our site, we both took showers and I started laundry. Sometimes uneventful days of driving, drinking, and dirty clothes can be darned divine!
... for him (Ed is "Walks With Stick"): Floats on Roads, Flat Moccasin, No Lead Foot... We ended our tour with a fantastic dinner at a local restaurant. The highlight was a spontaneous speech from one of the quietest, and certainly the nicest of the participants. Kent McNabb is a retired history teacher, and very soft spoken. Yesterday was his birthday, and we sang. Later he stood up at ...
Billings, Montana, United States linda_allen... Montana and go into the park by the north entrance. If you've never been here you can't appreciate how big Yellowstone is... There is a circular road that runs all around inside the park and it's roughly 140 miles long!!! At this moment (Tuesday 10:30 AM)we are in Billings in a Red Roof Inn.. The weather is turning bad and there is snow to the west of us but it's just raining and cold here. I was planning on spending more money for lodging at ...
Billings, Montana, United States dldemented... at the hands of one of the worst military leaders our country had. If Custer had been in Vietnam he would have probably been fragged. If you look at where the men were you would realize they were sitting ducks. Custer was looking for glory and had no regard for the safety of his men and he led them into a trap. Our history books in school as I was growing up pretty much touted "manifest destiny" as god's will. I don't buy that. I read an interesting ...
