Arrived in Little Rock about 5:00 PM. Travel was uneventful with good weather and very little traffic which is the way we like it. We had a great evening exploring the Little Rock River District which was near our hotel. There was a large farmers' market with lots of local products. ... to help serve dinner to the homeless in the area. We really wanted to do this as we thought that this would be an excellent experience for the kids but I lost his card with the contact information during the rest of our bike trip :(

... Mississippi River at Memphis. A big shout out of thanks to the two ladies at the welcome center in Arkansas. They told us about construction on I-40 and gave us an alternate route to Little Rock. Saved us having another hour wasted sitting in construction traffic.
