    ... camera on holiday is terrible. They suggested that I take it to a French reseller and get it assessed. If it needs to be sent off for repair (and they agree that it hasn't failed because of my misuse)...don't send it off. Buy a new camera, bring the old one back, show receipts and they'll sort it all out. They will confirm it all overnight but that's great customer service Also a slight hiccup in the plan ...

    After speaking to some Aussies - Georgie convinced Tony and I to take a 45km ride to Col du Galibier (elevation 2600m). What we failed to realise was that it was a total of 98 round trip with 45km of climbing, through tunnels you could not see your hand in front of you face (at times).     Dinner tonight was at "Au Puit des Saveurs". We ate here last year with Phil and Louise and had a good time so when you are on a good thing...stick to it....as the Mortien fly spray man would say!

    The grub tonight was exceptionally good, beautifully presented and some great flavours there....how about a drizzle ...
