      On the winding road up to Roubion there has been a rockfall. The fixit guys are there with a small digger to clear the rubble. As I pull up the remaining loose rocks are cascading down the mountain, crashing onto the road and bouncing on down the steep valley side. There must be some workmen up above levering the loose stuff down.

      A short walk into town to get supplies and check out the gear shops...disappointed on bike hire prices so decided to stick to a bike with a motor, it's tricky mixing the two... Nanno nap and after a refreshing shower felt like a ride - so up the mountain we went. It was quite late and the sun was setting - providing amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains...       ... camera on holiday is terrible. They suggested that I take it to a French reseller and get it assessed. If it needs to be sent off for repair (and they agree that it hasn't failed because of my misuse)...don't send it off. Buy a new camera, bring the old one back, show receipts and they'll sort it all out. They will confirm it all overnight but that's great customer service Also a slight hiccup in the plan ...
