... drove around to several spots of the track and shot some great pictures and videos. There was an open track day for motorcyclists today. By now it was 11:05 am. I still had to gas up the car, and return it by 12:00 pm. I shot into the hotel gift shop, didn't buy anything, then ripped out of there. ... A nice walkway along the river, we found the perfect spot to get an awesome view of Fujisan! The weather is nice and by now it is also lunchtime.... we have a simple lunch on an outdoor patio, things are working out just fine! After a while we continue our trip to the pink moss fields. When the GPS says we have reached our destination there are no fields to be found in the immediate area. We drive around a couple of times, nothing there ...

... for Fuji viewing with local tour buses and boat tours around the lake, I decided on the budget option of Shanks's pony and wandered around the shore to catch a good if not perfect view of Fujisan as it's known as the afternoon clouds cleared before heading back to my hostel in the more quiet Fujiyoshida which really was like a ghost town at night, just my style, peace! The following day I went back to Kawaguchiko for more of a wander during which Fuji ...
