... until around 1am when they impolitely informed us we could not spend the evening in the comfortable chairs. They told us to go downstairs by baggage claim to spend the evening and handed us thin blankets and a small travel pillow. Upon arriving near the baggage claim, we soon realized there were no chairs to sleep on so we spread out our blankets and tried to catch some zzz's on the cold dirty floor.
Without a doubt, Dario and I had the worst night of sleep ...

Anyway, the rest of the journey was fine, despite a minor panic in Toronto Union Station when I couldn't find anybody I was supposed to be meeting (it turned out that they were waiting in the wrong place!), and meeting my long lost family all over again was really exciting!

After we (and half of Montreal) crawled along the detour route, we made it to the top where the view was worth the effort. Stopping only to take a few photos (as they charge a fortune for parking even there) we headed back down through the heavy traffic to find somewhere to park.
