As you can imagine we have been very busy the last four months. Too much to write without boring you lot so we will stay with the Highlights - Lowlights format and flesh out the story by writing more in the photo captions.

Montreal - Church and Art

After a few moments of pondering my options the kind homeless man that had opened the door for me offered his newspaper, I couldn't possibly take his only possession but he insisted and refused to take no for an answer, and so I made it back to my hostel all thanks to the generosity of a fellow spirit".
I really enjoyed my time in Montreal but it was time to move on, Quebec city was my next port of call.

Bonjour, Eh bien oui, c'est le temps des vacances encore une fois. Je retourne en Asie mais cette fois-ci, je passe par l'Europe puisque je m'en vais en Turquie. Le pays fait partie de l'Asie mais un petit bout d'Istanbul est situé en Europe. Pour ceux dont les cours de géographie sont encore frais à leur mémoire, ne vous en faites pas, je n'irai pas du côté Est du pays qui partage des frontières avec l'Iran et l'Iraq. ...

So, the big story is that Quebec microbrews do this insane 11% stout - you could almost light it on fire. I was good till someone leaving gave me their VIP tickets that entitled you to full glasses instead of samples. Now, if I can't sleep on the Heathrow flight tonight, I will never sleep on a plane...

Magnificent Montreal
... up they give you an army wool sweater, then a full body one piece wind breaker, water boots, a life jacket and a large poncho so I was looking the the Michelin man and thinking surely I wont get that wet in all this!!! Wrong. We were boarding the boat (a flat bottomed, square ended aluminum vessel about 40foot long by 13wide with a drop nose to scoop all the water in!) and the chap asked who wanted the roughest ride and would get the wettest, ...
