Woke up to bleak conditions and knew that the trip to Skellig Michael wasn't to be so rolled over for another hour. Woke again to the mob ringing but the message bank kicked in before I managed to find it whilst madly scrambling in a half sleep.

... car to Dursey Island but as luck and bad timing would have it, we got there just in time for lunch break. Since we didn't have an hour and a half to wait, we pottered around for a bit and then backtracked up the Bantry Bay side of the peninsula looking for a market which one member of our party was sure she had seen on the way down. ... places along the way which were all really nice. Had a presentation at on place about these monks in 6th century that set up a monastery on this rocky outcrop 12 miles of the coast. You would have to wonder about their sanity.
