We spent the morning watching the football games and I'm so glad we did. That Seattle game was outstanding. Then we bailed around the 3rd quarter of the NE game to go eat some lunch and figure out our plan of attack for tomorrow. After lunch we found ...

... Fiona took to it all like a sea turtle to water!

That night we had a BBQ at the hostel where they cooked emu, ostrich, crocodile and barramundi (a kind of white fish) for us. My favourite was the emu but it was good to try them all. The hostel staff also managed to fix our air conditioning that night as well which was greatly appreciated!

The next day was our second and final day at the dive centre, but as we'd made good progress on the first ...

... made it a lot more interesting to visit because there was something to look at, whereas Darwin was so flat and red! Cairns is also a lot bigger than Darwin and has some really nice restaurants and cafes, plus a really beautiful esplanade where you can swim and sunbath if you just fancy a day relaxing.
