... and accommodating. We could just relax, walk around, check out the Mayan ruins and snorkel. All in all we had a great time and I would recommend this destination to anyone who loves Mexico or any newcomers, because it is such a great vacation. What is also great is that the hotel was cheap and I saved on it through the website that gave me a great hotel deal (www.sopriz.com). I couldn't find better deals anywhere else.
I went to the beautiful island of Cozumel last summer and had a great time. The website that I used was www.SOPRIZ.com and I was able to find a really cheap flight and a great resort hotel. The best part is that the hotel was cheap also. My family and I really enjoyed the trip and can't wait to go again and relax on the beautiful beaches again and swim with the dolphins. I wouldn't be able to go if I hadn't found the great vacation package at the website.
... time swimming in more of the Caribbean and the following day I took a ferry out to Cozumel and hired a scooter to take me around the island. The eastern side has even better beaches and took my leave to thoroughly enjoy them. I even ventured back around to the western side to a bar I was recommended to go to called the Money Bar where you can sit and enjoy drinks ...
Playa del Carmen, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico julesjb... parasailer’s and just generally people watch the day away. We sip on Sol beers and have food delivered to our chairs and thoroughly enjoy it.
We are in no rush to go out for dinner as we have really gotten into the swing of being lazy. I open a bottle of wine (which isn’t very good) and sit out on the balcony, watching the water, thoroughly mesmerized.
Now Playa Del Carmen is heavily populated with American ...

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico msdemeaner... she starts giving cutting my hair reminiscent of my childhood when one of our rellies suddenly decided that she was a hairdresser. I endure and get a minimal trim and get them to focus more on thinning it out (Gareth wishes he had this problem ;-). After this torture session we race to the nearest bar to calm my nerves. No more haircuts for me! Sunday we head to Chichen Itza stopping along the way at one of the natural cenotes. It's one of the many natural cave holes with fresh water ...
Playa del Carmen, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico gareth.alanna... infamous for its coral reef which is apparently second to Australia's. People come from all over the world to dive here an apparently its spectacular. We were feeling adventurous, but diving wasn't on the agenda. Instead we hired a scooter to zip around the island. Scary... perhaps. Exhilarating... definitely! It was only $22 for the day so we rode south, working our way through riding on the right side of the road as well as the various pot holes and numerous ...
Playa del Carmen, Mexico merli80... trip home reluctantly. Mark had to go into town to get the tire repair before turning in the car the next day and while he waited he found one of the great massages ...
Akumal, Q Roo, Mexico nwcreolelady... cheaper tham Mexico DF. First day we were in MaccyDs when we bumped in to one of Rat boys conquests from a few weeks ago, complete with husband and kids in tow. Brief conversation, then we ate our burgers. First night out was OK, we went to Señor Frogs, I was up on the tables dancing to YMCA along with everyone else, bar the Rat . He wasnt in the mood for dancing as he wasnt drunk enough, so we left for more bars at cheap prices and returned, only to find ...
Playa del Carmen, Mexico mothman... That's right - the upside down punctuation right there as if it's normal keyboard action. To be used at the beginning of a sentiment in Spanish. ¡Te entiendo! I understand you! That's fun. Though my spanish has faded. A lot. And it certainly wasn't that stupendous at it's best. Still. I do understand most of what goes on. And I'm quietly, and sometimes not so quietly) annoyed when people switch to English for me when I'm ...
