    ... great experience.

I haven't been able to do everything I wanted to do with this charity and achieve everything I wanted to achieve for reasons which were out of my control, but it has certainly taught me a few things on what I wouldn't want to do. Most importantly as each day goes by I strongly believe I have made the right choice to move onto something else and another organisation. The best way I can summarise my experience is: working with the locals has been ...

    Hi from Mombasa!

Currently sat in an internet cafe fairly near to our volunteer accommodation!

My flights on Wednesday went very well, Manchester to Abu Dhabi was wonderful- the plane was so luxurious! We had complementary entertainment AND drinks! ... I am meant to take my malaria tablets with food, lots of water and stay upright for an hour. I took it about 45 minutes before dinner was served, with a sip of water and then laid down on the sofa. Only have myself to blame really...!

Couldn't face food right away so had it plated up for me later. Was worth the wait, fajita style dinner followed by banana, maple syrup and peanut butter smoothie!!

Wasn't feeling too chipper so was in bed by 9.30pm.
