      ... drive from Mombasa up to the Tanzanian border. The park is famous for being able to see the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (if it's not hidden behind the clouds!). We were only able to see the snow-topped peak for about an hour one afternoon - see if you can distinguish between the snow and the clouds in the picture..       ... try to attract more passengers. By the time we eventually began, the clouds had moved in and the waves had picked up. Soweto wallowed valiantly through the surf, her rusting bolts squeaking and the rotting wooden roof swaying violently. I have to give the captain (guy manning the sorely underpowered outboard motor) credit though. He did manage to catch every wave in the perfect spot to send water spraying over all of us.
