I did 900 kms today. I almost stayed in Winnipeg but decided to muscle on through. Things went from rocky and lake-y to flat and wheat-y pretty quick. Nothing to show for pictures. ... of holidays - went to the movies, read books, played cards, watched hockey. We went to a Wheatkings game - major junior hockey - so boys from around 15 to 20 trying to get drafted to the NHL. Kinda like the TAC Cup for AFL I think. Lots of fights of course - it's what the league is known for. Was pretty relaxing really. The drive back - we did it all in one day - was pretty touch.
