... Graham would never forget
The next morning after re-loading Mr-T, we decided to have a wander around the quaint log cabin-esk town before hitting the road again. We learnt that a short walk into the hills there was a physical state line in the road which we could, so to say, straddle for a photo, so of course we did.
And so our brief love affair with Lake Tahoe came to an end.
... the campsite, I get talking to a girl called Alisha who is from Australia and is a singer and musician but is currently travelling Iceland amongst other countries. She has been here a few weeks and has successfully got around the country by hitchhiking, and has had a great number of experiences and met a lot of people this way. I find this impressive and inspiring in a way, and hopefully I will have the courage and motivation to try something similar while I am here.
... in the sunshine and JJ built a large structure in the sand. The beach and Lake were busier than we have seen them previously and this was probably because it is a weekend. We will have to see if it quietens down tomorrow. At the end of the day we drove back to the apartment enjoying temperatures of 28degC at 6pm.

... Then came the best part. As we descended, Lake Tahoe came into our view. What a gorgeous sight! As we headed to Tahoe City on North Lake Tahoe, we stopped at Tahoe State Area Recreation Campground where our friends had camp posted years ago.
