    ... Cockermouth where Wordsworth was born. Grasmere was our next stop to see Dove Cottage where he lived.     We had breakfast in our room (self catering) and headed off at 8.10am. We drove to Bodnant Gardens arriving there just before 9. The car park was empty, then we realised why.     ... of Lockerbie following a terrorist bomb attack aboard the flight. Eleven residents of the town were killed in one street where the aircraft's wings and fuel tanks landed in a fiery explosion.     Gemma and Chown headed off to a wedding leaving Knaps and I to venture into what can only be described as hell on earth, Blackpool. Imagine a town of Chavs but with all the other Chavs in the country coming in as well, for hens and bucks parties and just to get hammered. We drank for 15 hours it was fun.
