    ... towns next to mansions and people walking on main roads next to cars speeding and over taking as there are no speed limits or road markings, they are definitely horn happy though!! It is such an eye opening experience but the beauty of it is that they are all really friendly people! We even had ladies waving to us from the back of trucks.     ... the bar discussing American gun control or lack of and talking up how well we played today on a course that looks easy but is anything but that. A 95 off the stick and I was again thrilled with the way I played. Del; even walked the entire 18 holes and even had a great lunch afterwards.

    I had ticked off a couple items of bucket list over the past two days and was now ready to get into the rest of the trip. Bring it on.

    After a long 4 hour drive from Holyhead we arrived in Ambleside of the Lake District to a dreary rainy afternoon. This is a very beautiful small town with many places to eat and many many outdoor stores to wet anyone's appetite when it comes to outdoor gear.

    It's not overly a large community but it certainly has a very outdoorsy feel to it and a flare for the outdoors and no wonder, you are in the heart of the Lake District where walking, ...
