Very close to tourist attractions. Was very old but rooms were clean and quiet. Doormen were very helpful in organising taxis and trip to see a show.

The Hotel is practically right in front of the entry to the Forbidden City and about 3 km from Tianamen Square. The staff were helpful and the rooms clean and well appointed.

Myself, Robbie, Lauren and "Dougie" climbed to a very tall tower and were approached by Chinese people asking to take our pictures. We were then joined by "CAM" and went up a little …

Woah. After 30 long hours we finally made it to our first motel. A rather tired looking old building but the beds are crisp and clean and so inviting. The plan was a couple of hours sleep and then off to explore a little. We started off well, found a local food cafe and pointed at the pictures to order food. Had some pork noodles. A lettuce with …

So, going into a store to buy a bottle of water, or anything else for that matter, can be a little intimidating because you have no idea how much they’re trying to charge you… Enter our saving grace ...
