    ... difficult than getting in - there were long lines for check-in and security. She took one large suitcase and checked it through to Chicago for us - I don't believe she gave us a claim check.

    The plane to Houston was pretty full, but it wasn't a commuter plane. In Houston we had to reclaim our checked luggage for immigration, then recheck it. So far so good-we had 70 minutes to the next flight (to Dallas). But ...

    ... top row mates were dressed in sweaters and jackets. There was a floor to ceiling steel girder that obscured the pitcher's mound. Lloyd could see the wind up, but not the pitch. I could see the pitch, but not the wind up. Wrigley was built in 1914 when the typical tall American male might reach around 5' 8". I was okay, but Lloyd is 6' 2". Despite its certain flaws, to me it's still a gem. Lloyd won't be back.

    ... saw our first Great Lake. For all you cse geography people Chicago is on the very bottom of Lake Michigan , one of the great lakes between USA and Canada.
