      ... Put.......... Put.............. So off nitesh went for some gas.He Was back in 30 minutes with 20 liters of Mexico finest in a big plastic jug labeled jabon... Soap... Well when in roam :)
      So, after the rain storm that found the leaks in the windshield and the dust storm that lightly breaded us, we made the border. An hour in a half in the beetle oven and we were over! Needless to say the pool felt pretty good!

      ... note, over the same time frame the border patrol posted these numbers for the Laredo crossing;
      pot= 6000 lbs
      cocaine= 76 lbs
      heroin= 71 lbs
      meth= 19 lbs

      I guess that covers Holy Week activities along the border.

      The grackles are setting-up housekeeping, dancing and gathering straw for their nest.

      We had traveled the thirty-five miles
      from Falcon to Zapata over the weekend looking for a fabled
      White-collard Seedeater that is known to nest in the park there. No
      bird that day.
      So on Monday we traveled that stretch
      of US 83 that is under construction, out into the vast-wide open
