    ... of our adventures. She'll turn 93 when we return and we can't wait to tell her all about our adventures!

    Thank you to my parents for a delicious Tuscan dinner to get us ready for Italy. We are all looking forward to tasting the food in Italy....okay maybe not Emery so much. Max Hornak, Emery may follow in your footsteps and be ordering a lot of pizza!

    ... metal artists studio was located here, It was closed, but he had many of his sculptures in the yard. They were quite unique, large, awesome...and expensive. Leaving Leland I turned south to travel around Grand Traverse Bay. This was a beautiful drive, and Traverse City is quite large. There were many sailboats on the bay and one large "ship".     ... to Sue and Mom talk. Then Sue, Mom, and I sat outside on the upstairs porch and talked until bedtime. Thankfully, the bugs stayed away.

    ... over my head and wrapped around my neck three times and almost sufficated me. I couldn't get out of it. The good thing was I came out of it with no running mascara and great hair, but I could have entered the wet t-shirt contest. Would have won 1st if I was the only one that entered.
