We spent this day split into various groups. First thing in the morning, Joe and Rob headed off to the airport to pick up the rental cars that we will need to travel to Vero Beach. Carey and I and all of the kids headed to the Contemporary Resort for breakfast at Chef Mickeys with the characters. ... On the subject of soaking, on the river rapids you can shoot a water cannon from above at the people on the ride. The confused looks on their faces as they got soaked were only bettered by the mad scramble as they tried to avoid four people aiming their water cannons at them! We were even co-ordinating with other people on the water cannons to get one unfortunate person. ... today was going to be about a total of 10 hours, with a stop in Santa Maria for 45 minutes for fuel. We took off, and flew over Casablanca toward Santa Maria, where we touched down after about 3 hours. We had surprisingly received a TSA waiver so we didn't all have to disembark in Santa Maria, claim our luggage and re-board, as we had been told we were going to have to do. After that we had two hours to wait until "Illuminations" the big fireworks & laser show that Epcot puts on every night....So we said screw that! We knew we were coming back another day anyway, so we opted to leave early and took the Bataan Death March all the way out to the buses and rode back to ASMR to pop blisters and dip our feet in ...
... s palace though. Went on 'it's a small world' with Sean and Ginger, and got to the Haunted Mansion. Pirates of the Caribbean was out of service though, we'll have to try to hit that once more before we leave. Only picture I managed to get was of Sean trying to pull out the sword from the stone.
