    So, this is the rest of the weekend (and Monday as well)

    After the running on Saturday, we were ready to just crash for the night and besides, we didn't know where to go to see the fireworks. We thought maybe we would be able to see at least some from the hotel. About 9 pm they started, but we couldn't see them. Kept hearing them and when I looked back out at 9:30 they were everywhere! By the time 10 o'clock came, we were watching 6-7 sets of fireworks ...

    With the rain out of the area, we had a great day of exploring and hiking. A morning visit to Shrum Mound, which can be seen roadside at Campbell Park. Built at least 2000 years ago by the Adena Culture. Nicely preserved by the Historical society - looks like they just recently cleared all of the trees that were growing out of the mound.
