Even though I didn't get to sleep until 3:30 am, I was up Saturday at 5:30, filled with anxiety and dread at my impending departure from my true home away from home. Joining me this summer will be Matt again, who has recruited his cousin Lizzy, Julia- one of my Spanish 3 students from this past school year, and my friend Xiao Hua from kickboxing. Back on the road it seemed like we saw one car accident after another, which is always a good reminder to keep our speed slow (We are in no rush after all). Our friendly GPS suggested a shortcut which i mistakenly agreed to. The "short cut" took us right through Brooklyn at rush hour which was an experience i have ...

... sure if I’ll bother going to any more.

On Friday night Matt and I grabbed some yummy Peruvian dinner before heading to a small works opening at BAS.

On Saturday night we had surprise birthday party for Claire and Sain (Claire was in Australia when it was her actual birthday). They had no idea; which is always fun. The bar had a cool outside area and most of us indulged in far too many of the frozen margaritas…

      On Sunday Matt ...
