... probably the best burgers we've had--Kelsey had a tomato mozzarella basil burger, and I had a barbeque bacon cheeseburger. We didn't stay long--we were paying for parking, and had some more driving to do, but it was really nice :) That's all! We just liked our Pittsburghers :)
Pittsburgh, PA, Pennsylvania, United States mikeandkelsey... my mom and grandma came to visit. But, of course, with visiting the Kildows, we didn't do much there beside sleeping. This weekend, however, we bought a bunch of groceries to fill our full-size refrigerator, and with which to prepare dinners each night. We also look forward to doing our FREE laundry.
So today has been very homey. We woke up and made some eggs, bacon, and toast for breakfast. We rented a free ...

to get around as there were so many small highways and freeways competing for space
and crossing each other to include the numerous bridges. Several one-way
streets only added to the confusion. A

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States jimcabay... to leave. Kevin, predictably, was sitting waiting for us, presumably bored with the outing for the day.
Back on the bus, and before I knew it, the taxi was waiting and we were on our way to the airport. We quickly said goodbye and I snapped a couple of RIDICULOUS ads for the PGH Sky Mall in the terminal shuttle "Forget the news! Go Shopping!"... It never fails to amaze me, how retarded people are.
Read the rest, to find out just how retarded I am in the next entry....
... which I was pretty excited for. We saw some dinosaurs and Steph and I made a new 5 year old friend while hanging out inside a giant plastic Blue Whale heart. We asked him where his parents were, he simply said, "I don't have any parents."
Oh boy...
So I sort of kept an eye on him until the people who actually were his parents showed up.
So the whale exhibit was good, even if it was a bit smelling of fish. After that, we went to the art part of the museum ...
... us to two specific partner projects -- WAPIS and UPAKA. I am proud of those going, who had to raise $3,500 each to be able to go. We will keep you posted on our progress and work there, and we hope that you will be praying for us and our safety. Dr. Stanko
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States cubm... flight is now 5pm. A whole herd of us rush the ticket counter. We're all demanding to be put on the late flight, which is now earlier, to make our international connections(besides us, there was a woman going to Frankfurt, a guy going to Amsterdam, and another guy going to London Midlands) The guy refuses! Instead, they make us all "emergency bookings" to....Madrid. And from Madrid to Heathrow, and from Heathrow to Hamburg. The emergency booking leaves Newark at 10pm and ...
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States alienspice... has a shuttle that can take you to restaurants nearby although it is not always available and they told me a cab can be difficult to get. (renting a car may be a good option). For dinner I would recommend Quaker Steaks and Lube which is a local sports bar that serves pretty good wings. Well thats it for now. Check back later for future flights
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States jetcharterHi folks, I hope you enjoy my personal indulgence. I don't really get this whole blog thing -- why would the ENTIRE WORLD want to read about me? It just strikes as amazingly deluded self-importance. So if you are reading this you must know me; I'll try not to be tedious, but if I am, don't complain because, well, CLICK, and you can read something more interesting like Daily Kos, or about a real cyclist. OK, to the ...
