This stop is planned in order to visit the owners and breeder of a dog I plan to get once I am back from Alaska. I am so excited about getting a puppy and December seems so far away (which is when I can bring the puppy home).
The puppy is a Malagasy Coton de Tulear.
We stayed at the KOA in Renfro Valley. We only put on 149 miles today because we spent the afternoon with the dog breeder.

We then started the drive to next stop - the aptly named Middlesboro - and found a Holiday Inn with a pool. We quickly got changed and jumped in to cool down and relax after our strenuous day. We are at the Corbin KOA actually in Corbin, Kentucky. This is an overnight stay on our way to Derby week. A very rural area with lots of trees and hills. Corbin is also the birthplace of KFC.
