... able to see the show grounds of the world equestian games and other neat competitions. We walked all over the park and saw tonds of horses. While it was kind of a bummer to find out the place in under constuction, Sarah was excited to know that they were preparing for the 2010 World Equestian Games.

We took off with the fifth wheel up to Lexington, KY, where we would see some champion horses at Juddmonte Farms. That evening, when we got in to Lexington, we checked in at the RV park at the Kentucky Horse Park. It's quite a nice area. Then we went and ate at Bob's Big Boy, where Ashley had (what else??) a bacon cheeseburger! ;-)

It is scenic and very quite with lots of song birds - reminds us of home at Moose Lake. Visited: · Downtown Frankfort - With 70 historical buildings, it is a ...

Retreated back to bed. Perhaps I'll give Lexington another try in the morning...or perhaps I'll just stay in bed!
Lexington, Kentucky, United States vicarooToday, I drove from Louisville to Lexington to have lunch with a friend. The horse ranches around the area are gorgeous -- clearly gentlemen ranchers, not true farmers. I saw lots of men in camouflage, so I decide NOT to walk in the woods, lest I be mistaken ...
