Sandhill Crane Freakout
Location change:
We are going to see the Sandhill Canes on Saturday Nov. 10 leaving GR at 2:30 p.m. They gather before migrating every fall. They are extremely impressive! Latest word is that there are 7,500 cranes staging right now. It is about a 90 minute drive. Bring your binoculars or camera, and dress warmly. There is parking and viewing close ...

Hit the Road

We made our 1st major stop in Portage, Michigan to visit with an old friend, Erin (Kurtz) Michael. It was great catching up. Thank you Erin for your hospitality!
We spent the night in Kalamazoo and were off again in the morning headed for the border.
