The old pictures on the wall is so interesting to see such a huge pool that had once been a ballroom turned into a pool. When we walked in to see the pool we were suprised. What we saw at the far end was a restrutrant. Along the side walls were shops. It was neat to take pictures in the middle of what was once the middle of ...

... access to a VIP area of Retiro Bus Terminal with AC, a restaurant, and lounging couches. Here I had my first Argentine beer in 17 years - sorry mom and dad, but it's the truth. It was good to rest up before the bus ride and relax. I had read a lot about the buses in Argentina being the best of the world and even my second class ticket did not dissapoint. My seat was like an armchair and while the ride was long, it was ...

      ... Grandma.

For those of us in Jacksonville, whatever we did, wherever we were, she was a part of it. Honor roll on a report card was rewarded with dinner out with Grandma and Pop-Pop. In a speech to me at my Bat Mitzvah, she professed to cherish all the day school bubby/zaide Shabbats, Chanukah programs, and model seders. Elana says that when Grandma attended her last model seder, she was given a special commendation for having attended model seders continuously for ...
