    ... Amanda and Maureen headed off to a cupcake decorating class at The Cupcake Cupboard shop onboard. Darrell and Allan took the kids to the youth programs; Aquanauts for Michael and Explorers for Patrick.

    ... and early for my Everglades Adventure shore trip today. From Deck 11 I watched us sail into harbour at just before 7am. Breakfast followed in the Lido restaurant and then we were corralled into the Royal Court Theatre waiting for U.S. Customs to clear the ship and allow passengers to disembark.     We were pretty tired arriving in Fort Lauderdale at about 5:30am. After a lonnnnnng security process and many an annoying American accent, we were through to the other side with the dilemma of what to do with our bags. It turns out we could check in for our 11pm flight at 11am, so we found a few chairs each and caught up on some sleep which was much needed.     ... After recouping at the hotel, we jumped back on the water taxi for a night-time view of the homes and yachts. It is amazing how some of the people live. Just wished that we could have toured some of the kitchens. The water taxi takes 2 hours to complete its circle. We stopped by a pizza joint for a grinder and decided to call it a night.
