12F when we awoke can't imagine what 75F even feels like any more. Packed up the car and headed to the airport with our car and house sitter Miss Elizabeth in tow. Our flight was delayed slightly by de-icing however we were soon in the air and heading to warmer climates. Checked in at the hotel (bags all arrived!) ...

It was a nice day out and I couldn't wait for the game to start. They game was extremely intense. At half-time, Detroit was up 10-7. That soon changed and in the end, Detroit lost 20-23. I was a little sad, but I still wore my hoodie with ...

... br> As we went through Detroit and saw the devastation from the wrecking balls of change, from the fires from the 1967 race riots and from the more recent abandonment of the city because of the economic downturn, I felt some of the lamentations of the people on both of the buses.
